RETREAT DESIGN WITH CLIMATE CATALYST

Climate Catalyst is an international organization dedicated to sparking collective action against the most pressing climate challenges.
I collaborated with the Climate Catalyst team to design and facilitate two company retreats—one in Finland and the other in Spain. Our focus was to create a thoughtful balance between reflecting on the past, harvesting key learnings, recognizing the organization's current efforts, and strategizing for the future. Together, we identified strategic directions and defined concrete actions to maximize the team’s impact moving forward. Given Climate Catalyst’s international scope, fostering team cohesion was a key priority for these retreats. We emphasized team-building activities, energizers, and authentic moments of connection to strengthen relationships within the group. We adopted an agile approach to retreat facilitation, continually gathering feedback and adapting our methods as needed to meet the evolving needs of the team. Additionally, we supported team members in leading their own sessions, providing co-design and facilitation assistance when required. The retreats were a resounding success, resulting in a stronger sense of connection across the Climate Catalyst team and the development of clear, actionable next steps—crafted collectively by the participants. |
